ABOUT US

Unusual origins. Measurable purpose.

Oklahomans Partnering for Health was incorporated as an Oklahoma nonprofit corporation on January 3, 2025, and operates as a social-welfare organization under Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code. OPFH was created to address Oklahoma’s persistent position near the bottom of America’s Health Rankings through public education, issue advocacy and evidence-based public policy.

OPFH fills a distinctive role: a statewide coalition focused on measurable population-health improvement rather than the interests of any single sector. Our long-term objective is clear—move Oklahoma from 45th to 35th by 2035 and publicly track the policies and outcomes that can get us there.

Tim Pehrson is president and chief executive officer of INTEGRIS Health. He joined INTEGRIS in 2018 after a distinguished career with Intermountain Healthcare in Utah, where he held senior operational and continuous-improvement leadership roles. At INTEGRIS, he introduced the INTEGRIS Health Way, an operating model that engages caregivers in continuous improvement and emphasizes quality, affordability and value.

Pehrson’s experience in a consistently high-performing state convinced him that Oklahoma needed a sustained coalition extending beyond hospital walls. OPFH began as his vision for uniting health-system, business, tribal and public-policy leaders around a common set of measurable goals.

At OPFH, Pehrson serves on the board of OPFH and helps align organizational leaders around the 35th by 2035 strategy.
