COALITION

Cross-sector leaders — united for Oklahoma

OPFH brings together leaders from health care, business, insurance, tribal government, education, public policy and civic life. Members may approach individual issues from different perspectives, but they share a commitment to measurable improvement in Oklahoma’s health outcomes.

Research and advisory network

OPFH draws on universities, public-health professionals, subject-matter experts and state and local leaders for research, analysis and implementation guidance. Advisory participation is issue-specific and does not transfer control of the coalition’s agenda.

The network may include academic researchers, public-health departments, clinicians, economists, educators, employers and community leaders selected for the policy question under review.

Alliance partners

Local Government

Mayors, county officials and local leaders engaged in community-level policy and implementation.

Tribal Nations

Sovereign Tribal Nations and Tribal health authorities contributing expertise, leadership and community partnerships.

Universities and Research

Academic institutions and subject-matter experts providing evidence, analysis and evaluation.

Chambers of Commerce

State and local chambers connecting health improvement to workforce and economic competitiveness.

Business Leaders

Employers contributing strategy, communications reach and practical insight into workforce health.

Health and Community Organizations

Organizations supporting prevention, access, education and implementation across Oklahoma.

Independent governance

Independent by design. Cross-sector by necessity. Accountable to measurable results.

OPFH establishes its own agenda and operates independently of any single health system, trade association, industry or political party. Its structure allows members to collaborate around statewide outcomes without subordinating the coalition to another organization’s priorities.

“The corporation shall act on its own accord, distinct from and not in coordination with the Oklahoma Hospital Association or any other affiliated healthcare-focused lobbying entity.”

Bylaws Article I.3 of Oklahomans Partnering for Health, Inc., January 3, 2025.
